武當山是中國著名的道教圣地。魯迅先生說過："中國的根底在道教。"如何更好地宣傳武當、宣傳中國文化是每一位同仁義不容辭的責任。 《武當山英文導游辭研究與創作》作者(張正榮)針對不同類型的游客，如一般觀光型游客、文化需求型游客、來自北京的游客以及游玩期間是雨天的游客，提供了不同風格的武當山簡介，避免了千篇一律、陳詞濫調。
張正榮(1971- )，女，湖北省丹江口市人，十堰職業技術學院旅游與涉外事務系副教授，碩士，主要從事課程與教學和涉外旅游方向的研究。現為旅游英語專業帶頭人和系督導專家。多次在境內外參加有關高職高專教學理念的學習。目前，已經在公開刊物上近二十篇，參編教材四部。
