大書將所有托福真題文章的內容合并在一起進行詞頻統計。統計結束之后,無老師再將所有單詞根據出現頻率由高到低排列,使我們先背出現次數多的,保障了背誦的較高效率。為了提高新托福考試的單詞在這本單詞書中的排位,本書在統計之前就已經將新托福文章里的單詞按照兩次進行計算,保障考友們背的單詞是鮮活的單詞。
大書里的單詞是按照出現頻率從高到低的次序排列的,因此極大地滿足了不同考友的個性化需要。如果你需要考到100分以上,那么你就要把所有單詞都背過,但是如果你僅需要考80分,那么你就可以不背出現頻率為3次的單詞,因為它們被考到的幾率相對偏小。
在同一出現頻率上,大書也是打破了傳統的排列方法,采用由z~a的排列方式。這樣可以防止在背誦時產生疲勞感。
